FINISHING STRONG: (Day 14) Atomic Prayer

THE GOD CHOSEN FAST WITH PRAYER - Isaiah 58:6-14 ​

“And Jesus being full of the Holy Spirit, returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.” (Luke 4:1)

“Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days Jesus did eat nothing: and when they were ended, Jesus afterward hungered." (Luke 4:2)

“And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.” (Luke 4:14)

Key Thoughts
Jesus proved that fasting and prayer are a vital part of being able to accomplish the will of God through the fullness and power of the Holy Spirit. When you fast and pray, you should never lose sight of the fact that our FAST must be for THE GLORY OF GOD, that Jesus shall continually have ALL PRAISE, HONOUR, AND GLORY. If Christians realized what great power and blessings they are missing, they would be only too eager and happy to FAST. Fasting restores and amplifies prayer power. Prayer is good, it’s like a bomb, but prayer and fasting are like the nuclear bomb. FASTING with prayer will bring you closer to God quickly than any other way known. There will be more success instead of so many failures in life and ministry.

Prayer Time
Father God, I make a decision to finish fasting and prayer time strong. In this last week, I will finish strong by spending time in prayer. I thank you through fasting and prayer 2020 will be a powerful and great year. 

Now make time this week and press your way into God’s glorious presence.
