Good Morning Everybody,

This is day three, and you are doing well. Just think of the benefits of the fast they are powerful. The Lord is leading me to stay in this arena; we are going to talk about forgiveness.
Key Scripture
"Then came Peter to Jesus, and said, Lord, how often shall my brother or sister sin against me, and I FORGIVE THEM? Until seven times?" Jesus said unto Peter, "I say not unto you, Until seven times: Until SEVENTY times SEVEN." (Matthew 18:21-22)

Key Thought
Unforgiveness is when you are unwilling to forgive someone for causing you hurt, betraying you, breaking your trust, or causing you intense emotional pain. Unforgiveness is the result of anger and pride.

Forgiving the other person is for you, and by not forgiving, you are actually causing yourself more pain by holding on to the anger. Another thing unforgiveness can cause is health issues like cancer, high blood pressure, and heart disease.

Examine your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to show you if you have unforgiveness. Sometimes we think because we are not around the person that hurt us, that we have forgiven. I thought I had forgiven someone, and God had to show me, I had not.

Make a decision that you will let go of anger and unforgiveness. Ask God to forgive you for holding onto unforgiveness and anger. Spend time in the presence of God through prayer and reading the Word.

Prayer Time
Heavenly Father, the hurts I've received, and the frustration I feel have caused anger and pride to develop in my life. I bring my anger and pride, which have caused me not to forgive others. I repent, please forgive me now. You are the Healer of all my inner hurts, frustrations, wounds, and disappointments. Jesus, you said in Mark 11:25-26, "Forgive, if you have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, either will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses." Examine yourself and make forgiveness your lifestyle in Jesus' Name. AMEN!

Eph 4:26, 31-32

Lord, help us to not let anger lead to sin but quickly resolve our anger, forgive or ask for forgiveness restoring the spirit of God's Love.
