INTRODUCTION

Before you start reading this book, you must understand that this powerful but yet simple life changing leadership principle about vision is from a pastor or leader’s perspective and not from a congregational member’s perspective. If you do not understand that, you will believe that a vision is more important than people. But that is not what is being communicated at all. This book is written to aid pastors and leaders of ministries to really help the people of God.

The purpose is to assist the pastor or leader to put their priority where it should be, so that the people of God can understand their divine assignment in the house of God and where they fit in His plan within their local body.

For too long people in ministries have suffered needlessly and never fulfilled their divine destiny in life. Many have died without ever having understood the joy of operating in a vision from God that gives them a sense of belonging or worth and doing something special that God has created them to do for His kingdom.

Sad to say, but many times, it is the pastor or leader that is at fault because of a lack of knowledge concerning how important a vision from God is to the people who attend their ministries. Not only that, but also, how it connects them to their purpose in life. God said through the prophet Jeremiah,

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (A great, wonderful and glorious outcome in life) Jeremiah 29:11.

God’s thoughts toward His people will create a vision for the people in your ministry. Pastor/leader, if you really love and want the best for God’s people, then establish the vision. It’s about vision, not people.
